Back at the last round of D1 SL at Tsukuba there was a stand with a Dyno in the pits so Naoto Suenaga grabbed the chance to see what power his 2008 D1 SL Championship winning S13 Silvia was delivering to the wheels.

Here’s Video 1 of 2 from Luke of “We are Drift”promoting his upcoming DVD.  In this clip there’s some coverage of the last Drift Matsuri, inc some nice wall taps from Ben (Oz) and Paul (Holland).  There was more than a bit of paint left at the circuit over that weekend…. Naoto Suenaga can also be seen posing for the camera as normal in one clip and there some action featuring Daigo Saito and Fellow D1 Divisional competitor Mizuno tearing around the Minami course in their “Missile” Cars….. Oh happy memories of last year.

This is 2 of 2 Promo Videos Luke has made for his upcoming DVD – We are Drift.  This one features lots of action from here at Ebisu, including clips from D1 Divisional, Matsuri and some footage of Daigo Saito and Kunnyz practicing before D1 on Minami.  I know he has some even better footage for the DVD when its finally finished, lets hope that wont be too much longer!  Love the quick clip of Suenaga with his “dont touch” comment (Referring to when he and i were driving for the video shot, as close as we dared!). If you like what you see then get over here, as this is all a usual day at the office for us!

We managed to grab some pics and some words with Mr Saito Daigo, the reigning D1 Champion, when he was up here practicing for the next D1 round.  He was using his number 2 car, a JZX100 Chaser which runs an almost identical spec to his championship winning JZX100 mark II.  Daigo’s just back from attending and driving at Gatebil in Norway in which he told us he had great fun.

You can tell there is a D1 round coming up, when you arrive at Minami circuit and see no fewer than 5 D1 cars, here practicing.  The 2 JZX100 monster Chasers of Kunny’z and Diago Saito, Koguchi’s famous 180sx, Jinushi’s 4-real works green JZZ30 Soarer, and Wind’s Autos’ Hachiroku SR20 Turbo were all here honing their game.
