After some water consumption issues we removed the head of Emily’s S14Silvia and sent it to Koyama (Ex of Jun and now running Koyama Racing Labo here beside Ebisu!) for imspection.

Here’s some pics from the qualifying in the last round (5) of the D1 Divisional series.  This round was to decide the Series title too, with only 2 points separating the top 4 Drivers.  It was winner takes all!  The usual suspects lined up beside some faces I didn’t recognise to battle it out for a place in the last 16 Tsuiso battles.  The Top 5 seeded drivers automatically qualified leaving the rest of the field, including myself, to try and claim one of the remaining spots.

My S14 had it’s first magazine feature in this month’s UK Banzai Magazine.  The static shots were actually taken months ago when editor Joe was over for Tokyo Auto Salon at the beginning of this year and it’s taken me all this time to write the article!  The photos have come out really well and I was really pleased with the end result as the pink body can be a hard colour to capture.  Thanks to Joe for the great feature…even if he did get my name wrong!! We took our S14 out for a test on Ebisu’s Touge Course the other day and took some snaps and a short video.  I love this setup on SR20′s, (Trust Low mount turbo and supporting mods producing around 350ps).  The power and response from the Trust T517 Turbo makes drifting so easy.  This is one of our special cars we have in stock and is ready for either world wide export or for sale here in Japan.

(Check out his Blog at the end of this post). Even though the weather kept giving us regular soakings, we still had fun, here’s our pics from the weekend.

No sooner had we arrived and we’re greeted to an awesome display from visiting Formula D Driver Calvin Wan.  He’s joined on the School course by Circuit manager and Team Orange member Naoto Suenaga, as well as Ebisu’s Sumica-san.  All three were within inches of each other and as you would expect some paint was traded, all in the name of fun!  All 3 showed great car control and looked very comfortable at these super close-quarters.
Above is Calvin pictured with his car he bases here at the circuit. All these Formula D guys have their picture pose down…..   seriously though Calvin is a real nice, down to earth guy and it was great meeting him.
