In pursuit of a last chance to get a D1 Street Legal License we headed down to Nikko Circuit to enter the Goodyear “Gurachan D” competition.  It was to be a tough comp fought keenly between 72 hopefuls in-front of a squad of Goodyear D1 Driver judges….

OK, bring on the carnage!  Everyone was trying so hard at this comp to impress the Judges, BIG angle and high speed entry was order of the day followed by a nice big out line round the 1st corner.  This sounds great on paper but meant just about everyone at sometime spent time in Nikko’s infamous gravel trap.
