One of the 1st international visitors we hosted for a Team Orange Drift School Package were a couple of great guys from Singapore – Alan and Jason. As they promised back then, they have soon returned…. and this time they brought a load of friends. Alan and Jason this time opted to rent a car from us and practice what they had learned on their last visit, meantime 4 of the group took a Team Orange Drift School Package.

As I mentioned in the previous post, Kumakuborolled out a special surprise for our visiting group from Singapore….. He dusted off his D1 600ps Lancer Evo X and took the lucky Team Orange Drift School attendees for a blast round Drift Land that they would never forget!

A little while ago, 2 of the members of Osaka Drift outfit “Team Burst” visited the Team Orange guys here in Ebisu. Most famous of the duo who came up is this man, D1 GP Driver and D1SL 2009 Champion Naoki Nakamura.

New Zealand D1 Driver, William Cook (Or Crazy Will as he’s known) was over visiting for the last Drift Matsuri and decided to take advantage of his time here at Ebisu and booked a Team Orange one on one Drift School day through us.

Local tyre Shop Garage R held one of their regular Soukouki, or track day, here at Ebisu. What’s unusual about this one though is the fact it’s on Ebisu’s Nishi Short Course, one purpose built for Drift by Track owner Nobishige Kumakubo. Normally the long version of the track is a “Grip” only course so when a track day is booked for drift, it’s a rare chance that many people jump at! The course is awesome fun with a totally blind entry as you switch over the crest of the hill.

Masao Suenaga pulls of an amazing double win here at Ebisu over the weekend. Did anyone see that coming?!!? We never…. He must be the happiest drifter on the planet just now and he’s put himself in high contention for this years title with all the points he’s grabbed over the last 2 days. Congrats to him and big thanks to our guest photographer – JC from French Magazine Autoworks, who done a sterling job covering the event for us and snapping this title shot of a very happy Suenaga!
