    Grant

  2. Andy says:

Thanks for the Enquiry, Email sent.

  3. hi there,

BTW, wher is Ebisu Circuit located? How about your PowerVehicles show room and shop? I would like to visit you someday. If ever I already have a car that wants to be set-up, will you accept it? Thanks

  4. Andy says:

Hi there, Ebisu Circuit is in Fukushima around 15 mins from the Nihonmatsu Interchnage (No . 20) on the Tohoku Expressway. We are located in the compound in the Higashi [East] Course. We can set up your car yes, but alignment is setup away from the circuit. Our friends down at K-Style in Nihonmatsu will also be able to help.

  6. Martin says:

hey i was wondering about your drift car rental. if i happen to damage the car is there insurance that pays for itor is that included in the rental price or will that have to come out of my pocket? Also curious on the prices, times and courses available at ebisu for the day event. let me know. thx

  7. Andy says:

Sorry there is no insurance. Damage need to be paid for. We can recomend a course that best suits your ability so to limit the chances of accident thgough once you get there. The courses are listed here. http://www.powervehicles.com/driftlife/ebisu-circuit-guide/

All but Nishi and Higashi are open for drift everyday, subject to there being no snow in winter.

Cost varies from 1500JPY to 5,000 for a half day, depending on course requirements.

  8. Billy says:

Hey Andy, we are coming up this weekend for matsuri with the Missiles! Give me a call and maybe we can coordinate something. See you up there!

  9. Black says:

    hey Andy,
Now i lived in Tokyo. i wanna be a drifter. What about ur course. Ur course takes how many days and money to be a drifter. Sorry for my English.

  10. Andy says:

Hi Black, we would be happy for you to come up to Ebisu and try drifting here. How long it takes you to drift depends on how well you learn and pick things up. After 1 day i expect we will have you doing the basics though.

  11. Black says:

    Hi Andy
U forget to tell me how does its cost. how far Ebisu from Tokyo?

  12. Andy says:

Circuit Entry is around 5000 JPY Per half day for all courses. Details of our courses are Here: http://www.powervehicles.com/driftlife/ebisu-drift-tours/

Its around 3 hours north of Tokyo up the Tohoku Expressway.

  13. minto says:

Email sent in regards to January.
    Cheers

  14. Alvin says:

I will be going up in february to march for a month of drifting. However, I will first be going up in january to take a look. Is it possible to meet up with you guys to discuss accommodations for a month? I would also like to purchase my own personal car for drifting. I will be up there for roughly 3 days so I hope that there would be sufficient time to arrange everything and settle most payments by then.

  15. Andy says:

Hi Alvin, I have emailed you. We can certainly hook up, only problem is drifitng is at the mercy of the weather for the next couple of months or so…..

  16. kjartan says:

    Hi.

My friend and I are wondering, do you have some longer lessons? We are serching for a “driftschool” to learn the japanese drift style to teach it in Iceland.
First we was wondering about 1-2 week lesson to learn ALL the basics and more difficultys,

Could you send me e-mail about this, and if you have this, you maby put up some pricelist for me.
If you don’t have this package, do you know about anyone who have this kind of program ?

    best regards.
    Kjartan

  17. Andy says:

The price is 100,000 JPY per day. How much you learn in 1 day is down to how quickly you pick the instruction up. You can book as many days as you like, but this is the ONLY place you can be taught by Team Orange and learn how to drift their way.

  18. Johnny ( Subzero ) says:

Just wanna say a huge thanks to Andy and Emily , myself and paul had a ball and it made our trip to japan . Rented a car, destroyed 2 sets of tires and a tank of petrol and left with huge smiles. i personnally was hopeless at the start ( both from nerves and excitment) but learned so much from the day we spent at Ebisu .

really appreciated the warm welcome and showing us round.

thnaks guys, and we’ll be back soon hopefully.

    johnny.

  19. Martin says:

wondering how much it would be for a s-chassis. possibly with a boost up, diff, coilovers and bucket seat but N/A would be ok as long as the price was right. this would be for matsuri. also wondering how much for disposal or storage.

    thx
    martin

  20. Martin says:

actually any suitable drift car for that matter. it doesn’t have to be an S-chassis

  21. Andy says:

A turbo car with some drift mods and boost up with supporting mods would be around 400,000 JPY or more. NAs start at around 250000 but there harder to find with some drift mods. Storage at the circuit is 5000 JPY per month for a outdoor spot. Disposal if you dont need the car when finished is around 30,000. Car can be in any condition….

    A) when will be the best time of year to come over? has to be for a drift matsuri event.
    B) How much in AUD will I be looking at for a 3/4 week stay, including basic ae86 with susp mod’s & ITB’s or some eng mod’s. Including accomadation?
    C) I have a few more question’s but I will wait for your reply via e-mail to ask.

  29. DAVE says:

HI, HOW MUCH IS THE COST IN AMERICAN DOLLARS….I AM A BEGGINER AND I WANT TO LEARN DRIFT…..PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION AND GIVE ME INFORMATION….ABOUT IT.

  30. Andy says:

Theres more info here Dave : http://www.powervehicles.com/driftlife/ebisu-drift-tours/

Yen to Dollar is roughly 100,000 = $1000 USD. For a more accurate figure use a currency converter such as http://www.xe.com

  31. Donnie says:

how goes it Andy. Hey bro my trip time is nearing and I will be coming to your area. How close are any shops with dyno support to Ebisu? Im sure there are some in the Nihonmatsu area. While im there I want to see just how much HP my setup is putting out.

  32. Andy says:

Hey mate, theres actually a new Dyno at the track but its not for public use yet im afraid. Nearest one is maybe Sendai!

  33. Donnie says:

wow… well ill probably stop off in Morioka on the way down. autobacs requires your car to be JCI legal. My exhaust that I made yields much more response and power so Im not taking it off.

  34. dibbs13 says:

    hows it goin andy ,
i see a post on the rb powered ps13,

  36. Donnie says:

Ok so I have dates Andy. I will be coming down between the 11th-13th of July. questions are there hotels close to the track and

  37. Donnie says:

( sorry pressed enter to fast )

are there places I can get tires from so that I don’t have to bring to man.. I don’t have much space in the R33 and Im trying to sorta save on gas.

  38. Andy says:

Hi, check the Drift Heaven page to see how close the tracks are to the various hotels. We have Kenda Kaiser for sale on site here.

  39. Donnie says:

roger that sounds good bro. if you could, could you shoot me a email of the prices so I could know a estimate of how much yen to bring. I have a ton of tires here but i cant fit that many lol.

  40. Andy says:

We will compile a list next week, thanks,

  41. Hey Andy,

Just curious if you go thru many R-154 gearboxes with your two cars… Last night mine broke on a 2-3 upshift.

I’ve lost 3rd and 4th. The shifter goes into both slots but just does not engage the gears, so right now I have 1,2 and 5. I managed to get home with those, and the transmission made no weird noises.

The upshift was pretty hard on my part (slamming the shifter) so I’m wondering if it’s possible I broke a shift rod or fork and not the actual gears. That would make sense since I doubt I’d break 4th without using it.

Anyway I’d just like to know if you’ve run into this problem before. Here’s my setup in case it might help…

    jzx90 cresta
    1jz with 400hp
oem flywheel, random pressure plate and 3 puck metallic disc (looks like one you’d get off yahoojp)
    235 maxxis maz1

    Thanks!

    -Matt

  42. Andy says:

Yeah you can go through them. . . . . The Synchro is noisy in my 90 just now and i went through a few boxes in my 100. What i found is after i switched my ORC metal twin for a ORC Carbon Twin and havent destroyed a mission since. Clutch choice, ie one with a little give, is so important.

  44. Hi Andy..

I’m from DOminican Republic (Caribbean :D ) i’m a local drifter since 2006….. i have some Q, can u send me a email with the Answers?..

I have the idea to take a hole drift week on ebisu, i already talk to Calvin Wan and that’s was his idea (1) Drift Ebisu Week..
1- If i want a full -Advance Team Orange Class- and compete in the G1GP or Drift Heaven Week, is that possible?
2- How much i have to pay for -Mid tuned- car or competition car?
3- if the car/class package can be just for -One Driver o Two Drivers- o how is that works?
4-Can i take any date of the year? or the is a calander ready??

    Best Regards from DR.
