This is a pic from back just before D1 Rnd 1 at Odaiba.  Igusa-san of K-Style was at the circuit picking up the 2 d1 GDB Imprezas to give them a once over before the outing and he took time to crack this pose for us!

A little while ago, 2 of the members of Osaka Drift outfit “Team Burst” visited the Team Orange guys here in Ebisu. Most famous of the duo who came up is this man, D1 GP Driver and D1SL 2009 Champion Naoki Nakamura.

We spotted this in the car park at D1 and also driving into the event early Thursday morning.  It’s D1 Driver Manabu (Max) Orido’s daily driven Aristo.  He drives a full tune JZS161 Aristo in D1 also, so he must really be comfortable in these cars.

We caught up with Winds Auto in the pits at Minami whilst they were up practicing for the next D1 Round.  Unfortunately we never got to see the car running as it suffered a front knuckle failure, but they will soon have that fixed and we will see them back here for the competition.

Today at Minami GP Sports were out in action, triple drifting together.  It was great watching them keep tight formation as they navigated their way round the circuit at high speed.

We spotted these guys out having fun on the school course.  The s15 and GTR have both appeared in D1 and D1SL competitions and all 3 drivers looked very competent.  The R33 Skyline was real wild machine and was making some incredible back fire noises as it tore round the track, emblazoned with its sticker down the side “Rock ‘n roll night”!
