This lovely S15 Spec R is now on its way to the UK to its new owner, Ryan.  The wide fenders and pearl white paint looked great as they mirrored the snowy conditions here.

Here’s one of our cars snapped at K-style - The home of the Team Orange cars.  The Orange Evo 9 is driven in the D1 by Naoto Suenaga after Team Owner Kumakubo-san moved on to his Evo 10 this season. The Full Tune GT-R Monster was having a new boost controller fitted as well as the Wastegate reworked so that it vented to atmosphere as requested by it lucky new owner before it headed off to the UK.

Here’s some of my qualifying passes from D1 East Division Round 5 at the Nishi Course.  This circuit has to be one of my favourites I have driven on.  It’s not often used for drift as the course is made up of one section of the Nishi Grip circuit here at Ebisu.  Other than these comps, the Tri annual Drift Matsuris are one of the few other times that offer a rare chance for drivers to try their hand at this course, as the track is sectioned off for an hour or so, at the end of each day.  It’s so much fun, especially the long version in which you’re flat out in 3rd for a good number of seconds.  Check out the video and see what I mean…..

We took our S14 out for a test on Ebisu’s Touge Course the other day and took some snaps and a short video.  I love this setup on SR20’s, (Trust Low mount turbo and supporting mods producing around 350ps).  The power and response from the Trust T517 Turbo makes drifting so easy.  This is one of our special cars we have in stock and is ready for either world wide export or for sale here in Japan.

After being consistent all day, and qualifying 5th, i made an error leading to the crash in the last round of D1 Divisional here on the Minami Course .  Apologies to Masato-san (The driver of the AE86) for leaving him with no where to go!  I tried to remedy a poor entry with bags of throttle, but too much angle meant i came up short and ended up switching back across the track, collecting the AE86, and ending up in the foam barrier.  The damage is only cosmetic and the car will be ready for the final round in October.  This meant though i didn’t get a top 8 finish and i now need a lot of points from the last round to get a D1 SL License for next year….  oh well that’s racing!

Special Thanks to Luke who caught the crash (perfectly!) on tape as he was there filming for his upcoming DVD – We are Drift.  I could say i done it on purpose just for some good footage…..  but I’d be lying!

We love 180sx’s here at Powervehicles.com.  We took advantage of a quiet evening on the Higashi (East) track here at Ebisu Circuit to take some pics of our newest creation – this striking blue wide body “zenki”.  We purchased the car a couple of years ago, and have been slowly tuning it between other projects.  There has been extensive modifications carried out to the whole car, and we have now arrived at what you see here….  We hope you like it!
