This stunning S15 was driven in the D1 and Street legal Series by Sakuma-san. It used to be silver (APP Car) but in the last couple of years was bestowed with the legendary Team Toyo colours and is now available for sale. We had a good look over the car with it’s recently overhauled engine when it popped out to Ebisu for some testing.
Ems spotted under the bonnet of this yellow S15 Silvia and told me I should take a closer look…… she was right!

These guys know how to cruise up to Ebisu in Style! What better way to eat up the motorway KMS from Tokyo than in a 650hp Bentley! Fintan. Michael, & Colm (Originally from Ireland but now all Expats living in Tokyo) came up to try their hand at drifting our Rental Sil80 and had a ball of a time
Here at Ebisu Circuit Team Orange don’t do things by half…. When the D1 Corporation requested 2 convertibles for the upcoming D1 Weekend at Odaiba the guys had a dilemma. They had their famous S13 Convertible but the only other suitable car they had was a regular RPS13 180Sx….. Time for a roof chop!

My S14 had it’s first magazine feature in this month’s UK Banzai Magazine. The static shots were actually taken months ago when editor Joe was over for Tokyo Auto Salon at the beginning of this year and it’s taken me all this time to write the article! The photos have come out really well and I was really pleased with the end result as the pink body can be a hard colour to capture. Well here’s a sight you don’t see everyday, even here at Ebisu! Not only was this guy drifting a NSX, “the Japanese super car”, but a modified NSX! The car has a wide body Aero Kit, and engine tuning that includes aftermarket Camshafts coupled with Remapping via a HKS FconV pro. The most amazing thing about the day was the way he transported all his drift equipment, including 6 spare wheels! Check it out….

Team Moty’s with Kazama D1 JZX110Posted by Andy in D1, Feature Cars, tags: D1, JZX110, Kazama, Kin Chan D1 driver Kinya-san or “Kin-chan” as he’s known showed us his all new D1 Spec JZX110 at the last round of the D1 Championship here at Ebisu. We knew Kin chan and his then red JZX110 back from our days learning to drift at circuits near Tokyo like Nikko and Mobara. The car was then slightly lesser spec back then, but its been fully reworked to take it up to the D1 Spec “Monsta” machine pictured here.. and we love it! |
