Even on Holiday we need our drift fix….   We’re not long back from visiting our mates Dave and Brie over at Japanese Parts & Performance (JPP) on the Gold Coast in Australia….

This was our ride for the day, a light tune S14.  I loved Dave’s pickup and trailer setup.  No one uses that here as in Japan the trailer needs a shakken and many with people can’t drive on a normal license.

And this is Dave’s Demo/Comp car.  Its one tough looking 180SX!

So we headed to Archerfield for a mid week night session.  The track was small but still good fun.

Here’s our crew for the day.  Ems, Brie, Dave and Waxy.

Our mate Josh Young was there smoking the place up in his JZX90 Mark II.

There was a decent turn out and more cars kept appearing as the night wore on.

This S14 was running a 1JZ.

As the light faded shooting the cars became difficult but the blurry snaps sometimes made for good photos.

This S14 was another smoke machine.

Soon it was too dark but again sometimes we caught some funky shots.

Cool huh?

The action continued into the evening.

Later on the track was run in reverse.  It was much better this way and we even got the chance to match up with this black S14 and Josh’s JZX for some triple action.  Good fun was had by all.  Thanks to Dave and Brie from JPPfor organizing our trip and looking after us so well when we were over!  See you again next February (It’s too cold at Ebisu then!)
