Drift Heaven Weeks have no "Set price". Its down to you to calculate how much you can afford. The following is a breakdown of the various costs incurred over a average week, inc cars, hotels, and track fees. You may also want to factor in repairs and think about how much actual driving per day you plan on doing, and also consider what the best option is for you as regards what to do with your car once the weeks over (Various options listed below).
Spring Matsuri: May 5th & 6th (Drift Heaven Week begins on April 30th)
Summer Matsuri: August 18th & 19th (Drift Heaven Week begins on August 13th)
Autumn Matsuri: November 11th & 12th (Drift Heaven Week begins on Nov 5th)
In 2011 we welcomed visitors from, France, Holland, Finland, Ireland, Cyprus, USA, UK, Australia, Dominican Republic, Russia, Singapore, as well as many Japan based foreigners too. Top class international drivers are a common site here at Ebisu, with top names such as Paul Vlasblom (Netherlands), Christian Pickering (Australia), Julian Smith (Ireland) and Jhonnattan Castro (Domincan Republic) to name just a few. As the event grows we expect to see drivers from
even more countries, and in bigger numbers, attend the event in 2012.
☆DRIFT HEAVEN WEEK SCHEDULE☆
☆Car Shakedown/Practice☆ (Monday – Thursday)
Powervehicles in Ebisu can supply you with a car for you to use for your stay and when you are finished, it can either be exported to your home country, stripped of parts and body scrapped, or we can arrange storage for it till your next trip.
Once you arrive, you can use the circuit and it’s facilities to test out your car, carry out maintenance and set it up for your driving needs. The circuit's open every day 8am - 5pm. Tyres are available to purchase (Please Pre Order) and tyre changing facilities are available for you to use FREE on site (Don't worry if you don't know how to do it, someone's always on hand to help you!) Should you have mechanical trouble Powervehicles and Local Tuner Agent Ks can provide full garage support, and we will do our best to get you back on track as quickly as possible.
Advice is always on hand from the local D1 GP and D1 SL Drivers regarding car settings and track techniques. Go out, familiarize yourself with the many tracks that Ebisu has to offer and get some practice for the G1GP!
Price per day: 8,500 Yen (Price includes entry for 1 person to drive on all 5 Drift Courses, all day)
or
5,000 Yen (Price includes entry for 1 person to drive on all 4 Drift Courses, Minami being excluded, all day)
Skid pan and circuit entry only 1,500 Yen per day, Per PERSON.
☆G1GP Competition☆(Friday)
The G1 GP Drift Series had become one of the biggest gathering of international drifters in the world, with for example 2010 Round 3 attracting drivers from 11 different countries. Christian Pickering of Australia won the 2011 championship in a closely fought season, collecting a FULLY SPONSORED D1 Street Legal Round Drive in a TEAM ORANGE car in 2012 as well as prizes such as Zenky Racing Brake Kit, 1 Year Unlimited Entry Ebisu Gold Card, Limited Edition G1 Bride Seat, and Limited Edition Koyo Oil Cooler. He wasn’t the only driver walking away with amazing prizes too, with Zenky Racing Products, 1 Year Unlimited Entry Ebisu Gold Passes and G1 GP T-Shirts being split between the Top 6 of every round. Support has grown for the series as has the long list of sponsors as well as continuing coverage Japans Drift Tengoku Magazine, Frances Autoworks Magazine, and many online Blogs and Videos. Whilst the competition is fiercely fought, it's all run in the best of spirits and changes to the 2012 format are being brought in to keep the competition fresh and exciting, whether you are a beginner or a pro driver! So if you want to pit yourself against some of the world’s top drift talent in front of Team Orange, and possibly end up competing in a Japanese D1 Competition yourself, you had better enter the G1 GP!

Autumn Round 3 [Final], November 9th: Nishi Short Course, Long Layout

☆Drift Matsuri☆ (Saturday & Sunday)
Every drifter, from anywhere in the world, should definitely experience this at least once in their life. The world renowned Drift Matsuri's see 300 - 600 cars descend here to the home of drift for 36 hours of non-stop drifting madness! Everything you have heard about the event is true…and more. Rub shoulders with D1 Drivers in their practice cars and revel in the one-of-a-kind atmosphere. All courses are dedicated to drift for the entire event, including the High Speed East and West Courses which are usually grip only. At the end of each day the West Course is modified into the awesome Nishi Short Course for a limited period, allowing you to experience this normally off limits course for the Hottest session of the weekend. The action doesn’t stop at night either, with drivers continuing right on till day break and beyond. We're glad to see many similar "Matsuri" events around the world starting to appear but the original is still the best - Come see for yourself.
Price 15,000 Yen for weekend pass. (Must be booked 14 Days before the event or late booking price is 20,000)
To Enter as a spectator on any of these days is 1500 JPY per person, per day This is an ideal opportunity for those thinking of coming to Japan and compete in Drift series here such as the D1 GP, D1 Street Legal, D1 Ladies League, D1 Divisional and MSC. Test your skill here in a drift heaven week, and if you think you have what it takes, return to compete in a full Japanese drift competition against the locals! We can arrange competition vehicles for you to compete with from a regular competition spec machine right up to a D1 machine to compete with the world's best. More info by request.

Vehicle sourcing: We have a large stock of ready to drive drift cars at all levels. Click the Showroom tab above too see our current inventory. If we don't have anything that suits you we can source specific vehicles from auction, and our many friends here in the Japanese drift scene. If you're on a budget why not share a car between a group of friends and share the cost!

"Matsuri Missile":

The least you need to just get out and drive, with either aftermarket or Locked LSD, a bucket seat, and a set of aftermarket suspension.

Light Tuned :

The next step up. A Turbo charged car with aftermarket parts such as LSD, Coilovers, Exhaust System, Clutch, Bucket Seat, and some light engine tuning.

Mid Tuned:
Common Vehicle Choice: S13/S14/RPS13/JZX90/JZX100/R32/R33/JZX90/C33/C35/A31/ etc
For those who want a turbo drift car with around 300ps. Expect a S14/S15/HKS GT-SS Turbo or similar setup on the SR engined cars, injectors uprated and remapped ROM, on top of the parts listed on the light tuned option, as well as aftermarket, Intercooler, larger radiator and Adjustable Suspension parts. It's also likely to have some aero parts and in car electronics such as boost control and meters.

Buy Back Option
We will buy cars back from you if you like at the end of the week or sell them on your behalf. Price of course depends on condition but generally you will get a minimum of 55% back of your purchase price if the car hasn't suffered any heavy damage.
Vehicle Storage
The following options are available for customers wishing to keep their newly purchased vehicles here at Ebisu Circuit until their next visit: Outside Parking in Circuit Compound Storage Areas: 5000 JPY Per Month
Vehicle Exports
Powervehicles are experts at preparation and forwarding of Japanese tuned cars to countries all around the world. We can raise the cars and securely hide aftermarket parts to enable the cars to have the best possible chance of arriving in perfect order in their destination country. RORO and Container shipping available to most major ports in the world. Quotes can be supplied upon request.
Dismantling and Disposal
You can remove the parts you desire from the car and then we'll arrange the disposal of the vehicle (for a charge) or alternatively cut the car and arrange shipping of the front cut to your destination country.
Vehicle Tuning, preparation and Recovery
We can tune or repair cars when required, just let us know what you want done in good time before your arrival. Our Partners at Agent Ks are on hand too (The guys who prepared Suenaga's Championship D1 SL S13). They have a massive stock of parts and vast knowledge on all drift cars, specialising in Silvia's and 180sx. That joint with our Toyota Knowledge means we can provide you with the support you need to keep you sliding as much as possible.
There are basic tools and equipment available to use for powervehicles customers but we advise you buy some basic tools from the local home centre(A Jack, Torque wrench, Wheel wrench and basic tools can be bought for 15,000 JPY. XE.com currency Converter).
One on One Tuition from Team Orange
This is the ideal package for the driver from outside Japan, who wants to learn from the best. Personal tuition from a Team Orange D1 driver.Complete ‘Arrive and Drive’ style. This package includes everything you will need: Turbo charged drift car, circuit hire fee, lesson fee, 4 tyres and 1 full tank of fuel. (Additional fuel and tyres are available if required at extra cost). We can cater for all levels from complete novice to professional driver, tailoring each days tuition so suit each individual.
Note - Team Orange lessons are available outwith Drift Heaven Weeks, subject to availability.
Price per driver/car 100,000 JPY + 10,000 JPY for translation services, Booking fee and transfers

Hotels and Travel
Directions from Narita Airport to Ebisu Circuit By Car: Proceed to towards Tokyo on the Higashi Kanto Expressway until you reach the C2 which is signposted for Tohoku Expressway. Proceed onto the Tohoku Expressway for approx 2 ½ hours until you reach exit number 20 Nihonmatsu. After paying at the toll gate, turn left and left again immediately at the signal at the petrol station. At the next signal turn left again and follow the road for around 5 minutes until you come to a T-Junction. Take a left and follow the road for approx 7 minutes until you see the entrance for Ebisu circuit/Tohoku Safari Park on your right hand side, opposite the Eneos petrol station.
By Train from Tokyo Station: Take the Yamagata Shinkansen/Bullet Train to Koriyama Station (Around 1 Hour 15 Mins). Transfer to the local JR Tohoku Line bound for Sendai and purchase a 400 JPY Ticket. Get off at Nihonmatsu Station which is around 25 mins from Koriyama (5 Stops). At Nihonmatsu Station, you can take a taxi to the track which will cost approx 5,000 Yen. (There are often people traveling to the track at event time that will be happy to share costs with others/carshare).
There are a number of accommodation options available including:
Urban Hotel Nihonmatsu:
This is a regular, modern hotel with all the usual facilities including Internet. It is located in Nihonmatsu town centre beside the train station, 7-11 convenience store, bar and restaurants and is approx a 15 minute drive from the circuit entrance. The price is Y13,500 for a twin room, 7000 for a Single and 15,000 for a triple (Breakfast is extra an 1050 JPY). A rental car is advisable.
Rider & Drivers Salon:


Ebisu Circuit kindly offer this large hall for any patrons of the circuit to use FREE OF CHARGE. Note there's no showers etc but there are some in the Local Onsen (Hot Spring) 5 minutes away by car. There are futons and bedding inside the hall for all to use too, just please keep the place tidy! There is also no shopping facilities. A hire car is necessary.

Cottage for rent, spacious and clean, set north of the circuit further up the mountain, around 15mins from Ebisu. Heating/Electricity etc included in the price, full self catering, basic shop on site, 7 mins to the nearest convenience store, 15 Mins to a large shopping centre. 22500 JPY per day for a Large Cottage (Sleeps 8) per group of 6-8 People, 18,500 JPY per day for groups of 5 people and under. This makes it a good place for larger groups to stay...A hire car is necessary.
Hire Cars:
We can arrange low budget hire cars for your stay. Cost around 5150JPY Per Day inc Insurance or 22,000JPY Per week. Pick up from Urban Hotel
Other Info:
Fuel cost is around 9000 JPY per tank. You could easily use that in 1 day.
Tyres are around 15,000 per set (Tried and tested brands such as Kenda Kaiser).
On a dry day you could easily use 1 - 2 sets.
Food can be bought for around 1000 JPY Per person per meal. Less than half that if your on a tight budget.
Beer & Chu-hi costs around 200 JPY Per 500ml can and can be bought just about anywhere!
